2004-2005 Environmental Club

Dear Environmental Club Members and Parents:

Welcome to the Environmental Club! We are excited to begin this year’s Environmental Club at Stillwater Montessori School !

Our Meetings will be held at the UM Page Farm and Home Museum or the Elementary school, on Thursdays from 3:30 – 4:45 p.m., except during school vacations or storm days. The fall list of planned dates is printed below. If any changes in the schedule are necessary, we will notify you. Please note that our first meeting is Thursday, October 7 th at the UM Page Farm and Home Museum from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Snack will be provided.

Members will be learning about nature, how to observe and really see what is outside, and work with people who are specialist in their fields of study. Each member will receive a field notebook to keep observations and notes in throughout the year. This notebook is yours to keep.

Transportation to the environmental club will be by bus from the primary location and elementary location to UM Page Farm or from the Primary location to the Elementary location. Please sign the permission form allowing us to transport your child by bus to environmental club. Students who join us from the community will need to meet us at 3:30 p.m. at the UM Page Farm or the Elementary location. All students will need to be picked up at 4:45 p.m.

Parents are welcome to help out with environmental club. Please contact me (827-2404), if you’d like to attend and help out. Thank You!
