NOTE for PARENTS ** UNITED WAY DONATIONS** The Stillwater Montessori School is now listed as a member of the United Way. Therefore, if you DO give to the United Way, please designate your donation to the Stillwater Montessori School. This way you can make a donation to the School thru the United Way Fundraising Drive that is underway right now. This is a real good and easy way “tax-wise” to make a donation to the School. Thanks!
RETAKES OF SCHOOL PHOTOS: These will be next Thursday, Dec. 21st at 9:00 a.m. at the Elementary location. If you wish a “retake” or photo because you were absent that day, please sign-up on school bulletin board. You need to bring the photo package you received to this retake. Primary parents need to take their child to the elementary and then bring them to the primary school after the “retake”. Please ask Joe / Linda if there are questions. Thanks
“ADOPT A VOLUME” The World Book of Knowledge Encyclopedia has arrived! Won't you consider "adopting" a volume in your child's name, to help defray the cost of this wonderful resource? The volume you adopt will have a special bookplate honoring your child. How to choose which volume to adopt? Easy! If your child's name begins with "L," then that's the book for you! Or perhaps a favorite family subject is "dragons;" if so, "D" is the volume to choose. Of course “adopting” a volume is on a “first-come” basis. Please see Al, Irene, Joe or Joanne about your “adoption” of a volume. A tax-deductible family donation of $25 would go a long way toward paying for this resource. Your support will be greatly appreciated and live on at SMS inside the cover of your “adopted” volume!
OPEN HOUSE: Share the news about our “high quality” alternative educational program by inviting your friends and neighbors to visit our elementary/ middle school programs on Tuesday, December 3rd. The school will be open to visitors that day and students will be available to show them the classrooms and the program. At the Elementary Location there will also be an After-School Culture Club program that day starting at 3:30 p.m. and a School Pot-luck Supper starting at 5:00 p.m. Look for sign-ups to attend! Open to Everyone! All are Welcome!
