Elementary / Middle School Parent’s Night:
Monday, Mar. 3rd , 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Do not miss this opportunity to visit and see what is happening during the school day! Let your child show you around. The Upper Elementary will present their projects in technology.

Primary Parent’s Night: Tuesday, Mar. 4th & Thursday, Mar. 6th , 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.: A night for parents to visit their child’s classroom, have a snack and to see what their child does during the busy hours of the school day. Please sign upon the sign up sheet on the bulletin board for the day, which is convenient for you. Please review the Parent Night Guidelines!

Parent-Teacher Forum March 7th : 6:30 p.m. at Primary Location: Topic: “Maine Learning Results :What they mean” Guest speaker will be Tad Johnston from the Maine Dept. of Education. Sign-up on School Bulletin Boards.

Youth Concert BSO for Elementary/ Middle School, March 10th - 1:00 p.m.: The Elementary and Middle school children will be attending the Youth Concert BSO. Transportation to be provided. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask your child’s teacher.

Maine State Elementary / Middle School Team Chess Tournament at UM-March 15th , We will have a team competing in the Middle School section of this all-day tournament.

Lasagna Supper-Thursday, March 20th : NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED-Are you tired after a long day at the office or school or just tired of winter? Well here is your opportunity to take the family out of the house and away from all of that. The Elementary Students will be hosting a Lasagna Supper on Thursday, March 20th, 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The students prepare the entire meal along with dessert. The cost is $5.00 per person or $10.00 for the entire family. All the proceeds go to help cut the cost of their end of the year field trip. Please show your support by attending this important supper. Thank you

NO SCHOOLMARCH 21st – There will be NO SCHOOL on this date due to a Teacher In-Service Day. Please plan ahead for childcare if necessary. The School will NOT provide any on this day.

JOANNE ALEX’S BOOK IS HOT OFF THE PRESS!!

That’s right folks; Joanne has written a book titled: “I Wonder What’s Out There? A Vision of the Universe for the Primary Classes”. This is a space curriculum book, explaining how we can incorporate learning about space into our young children’s lives and classrooms. The book has many color illustrations of our students learning about space and doing experiments. These books are on sale right now for $26.00 each. If you would like a copy of this wonderful book please sign your name on the sign up sheet on the parent board. An order will be placed this Friday, February 28th. . Payment is due when book is received. Part of the sale proceeds will go to Stillwater Montessori School as a fundraiser. Thank you.
